Also, do not forget about the humidity of the room, it plays a very important role and should be 70-75%. Storing wine in a barrel is the best option, but not always available, as they are usually located in wine cellars. But storing wine in bottles and stainless steel is a more practical option.
If you are a professional winemaker, or if you decide to make wine for the first time, then you should definitely know that there are several options for storing wine. For example, one of the options is a wine cabinet or a cellar, since it is there that all the optimal conditions are collected so that your wine can be stored for as long as possible without losing its exquisite taste. But what if you don't have these amenities? Then you can use a regular cellar, but only if there are no foreign odors in it, the temperature, humidity and light are suitable. Remember that neon and sunlight are wine's worst friend, as it makes the drink taste bitter.
An attic can also be suitable for wine, but only if it is not very well lit and there are no sharp temperature changes in it. Another way to store wine is to store it in an apartment - in a dry room. But, in no way
case, not in the bathroom and not in the kitchen, because there, as a rule, high humidity.
Many are interested in the question, is it possible to store wine in the refrigerator? The answer is no, because too low temperatures, frequent vibrations and a lot of foreign smells will negatively affect the quality and taste of your wine. This gentle drink does not tolerate various vibrations or shaking, so you should not endure it too often. One of the very important factors is also that the wine must be stored exclusively in a horizontal position.
